Interiors & food photographer | Robin Quarrelle

ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Robin, a freelance photographer based in Wiltshire, working across the UK and Europe.

I specialise in interiors and food, creating calm, atmospheric imagery for design-led spaces, hospitality brands and lifestyle clients.

My background in luxury travel continues to shape the way I work: quietly observant, story-led, and attentive to the small details that define a place or a plate. What began as a travel companion has developed into a craft I’ve refined over time, from capturing the atmosphere of interior spaces to the character of a dish fresh from the pass.

I’m drawn to honest, unfussy photography that feels lived-in and real. Whether I’m photographing a thoughtfully designed home, a neighbourhood restaurant, or a hotel in the Alps, my aim is always the same: to create images that feel warm, natural and true to the experience of being there.

When I’m not on set, you’ll usually find me in the countryside with my family - cooking, tending to the veg patch, or planning our next trip.

MY APPROACH

Every project begins with understanding your space and how you want it to feel. We walk through together, discuss priorities, and shape the shoot around light, flow and narrative.

On the day, I work quietly and deliberately, refining composition, adjusting details, and capturing a considered mix of wide scenes and more intimate moments. The process is calm, efficient and collaborative.

Back in the studio, each image is carefully refined through colour work and retouching, ensuring a consistent and cohesive final set.

The aim is simple: to create thoughtful, timeless imagery that strengthens your brand and communicates your work with clarity.

MOON DESIGN
Robin recently photographed a project for us. He was great to work with and we were extremely impressed with his shots. They were all beautifully composed and were above and beyond what we expected. Highly recommended.

BILLY SINCLAIR // SINCLAIR STUDIO
Robin is a fantastic photographer and really easy to work with. He photographed one of our architectural projects and we're very happy with the results. I would highly recommend.

EMMA POCOCK // TURNER POCOCK
Robin has photographed several of our projects and he has a great eye and easy nature, he understood our brief and how we needed to use the images with ease. He has also kindly donated time and resources photographing our TP Caring Spaces charity projects giving us critical fund raising material.

VERITY COLEMAN // RASCAL & ROSES
Robin is an excellent photographer and we really enjoyed working on the shoot with him. He is thorough, clear with what shots he thought best captured the spaces, but has a very relaxed and friendly approach, which really helps, especially when shooting in a client's home. The photos themselves are beautiful and covered off everything we needed - he is also a great post production wizard, which really showed in the final images. I would not hesitate to recommend Robin to others needing high end interior design photography.

MICHAELA WREDE // ARGYLL
I’ve worked with Robin on various shoots for Argyll and he always delivers. He has an incredible eye for detail and goes above and beyond to get the perfect shot. He’s incredibly professional, creative, and best of all, a joy to work with.

JOJO BARR // HOUSE NINE DESIGN
“I do a little jig when I see Robins photos drop into my inbox. He will go to any lengths to get the perfect shots of our projects even if we are totally out of light, he will find a way and the final photographs never cease to wow me. He not only has a great eye for detail but is an absolute pleasure to work with, bringing fun and positivity to every shoot.”

MALCOLM KEEGAN // MALCOLM KEEGAN | ARCHITECTURE
“Robin did an incredible job photographing our Fontenelle House project. He prepared in great detail spending time with us, reviewing the design principles and getting to know the building before his photoshoot. He has been a pleasure to work with and we look forward to using his camera skills again on other architectural projects.”

LIVA LINDE // HOTEL LES MAZOT DU CLOS, VILLARS
“We commissioned Robin to reshoot all of the rooms in our hotel, we found his professionalism and skill with lighting, staging and other areas very impressive. The final photos were stunning. The brief was to highlight the views from our rooms and the result was superb. The images were clear, vibrant yet still retaining a natural feel which was our goal. He has a great eye for detail and we would highly recommend Robin for any interior or architectural shoots.”
