This alpine apartment in Verbier was photographed for interior designer Annabel Grimshaw, whose design brings warmth, colour and layered texture to a contemporary mountain home. Based near Bath, Grimshaw’s studio is known for creating characterful residential interiors that balance timeless materials with a vibrant, personal approach to colour and pattern.

Set within the Swiss Alps, the apartment combines warm timber finishes and carefully chosen furnishings to create a welcoming retreat after a day on the mountain. The brief for the shoot was to capture the relaxed atmosphere of the living spaces while highlighting the thoughtful details and materials that define the interior. Working primarily with natural alpine light, the photography focuses on the relationship between the warm interior palette and the dramatic mountain landscape beyond.
