THE COACH HOUSE

The Cotswolds
Gloucestershire

This project involved photographing a sensitively reconfigured coach house in the Cotswolds for STAMP | Architecture & Design. The project carefully adapts a historic building within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, balancing contemporary living with the character of the original structure.

Rather than extending the building, the architects focused on making better use of the existing footprint, converting the former garage into a bedroom and reworking the internal layout to improve accessibility and flow. The resulting spaces combine traditional materials with calm, contemporary interiors while preserving the building’s historic fabric.

The brief for the photography was to document the architectural interventions and the relationship between the restored interior spaces and the surrounding landscape, capturing the quiet character and craftsmanship of the project.
