NOTTING HILL MEWS HOUSE

This Notting Hill mews house was photographed for House Nine Design, whose interior scheme brings warmth, texture and personality to a compact London home. Set along one of the neighbourhood’s characteristic mews streets, the property balances the charm of its historic architecture with a calm and carefully layered contemporary interior.

The brief for the shoot was to document the character of the spaces and the thoughtful use of materials and colour throughout the house. Working primarily with natural light, the photography focuses on the relationship between the building’s original proportions and House Nine’s confident interior design, capturing the relaxed atmosphere and distinctive style of the project.
